The day by day running race has allowed man to become very busy, he/she has no time to go to government offices to get any work done and engaged in long lines. Due to more privatization of industries,people have no time for any work;even they do not have time for their family members. To resolving this problem the Karnataka government has decided to provide door to door public services to save time for people so that they can get government services at home.

So the government has started “Karnataka Janasevaka Scheme 2020”. Most of the ladies of our country are not interested to go to the public offices so whole the burden comes to the male member. Because of thesereasons government has decided to implement such a unique scheme for the benefit of the people belongs to state of Karnataka.In this scheme government of Karnataka will give multiple services related to public department at home. This marvelous effort is done by the Hon’bleChief minister of Karnataka B S Yeddiyurappa .This is an app and call based schemes provides documents and certificates at the doorstep.

Janasevaka Scheme

The Karnataka Government has decided to digitize maximum time consuming services.This Janasevaka scheme has been launched by government of Karnataka on 5 February 2020 .This scheme mainly provides home delivery ofservices to the citizen ofKarnataka.

Karnataka Doorstep Delivery Scheme

The Karnataka Janasevaka scheme is announced by the Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa. The scheme will contain 53 public services and 11 different departments. The main objective of this scheme is to provide time consuming public services at home and also share the burden of people.

Karnataka Janasevaka Scheme Includes:-

This scheme includes 53 important public services some of them are given below-

  • Ration card
  • Health certificate
  • Senior citizen card
  • Revenue khata khatauni documents
  • Marriage registration certificate
  • Identity Card
  • Driver License

Jan Sevak:-

A person is appointed for providing home delivery of public services is known as Janasevaka.This delivery executive collects the required documents from the citizen’s residence and deliver the services to them.

Cost for Service:-

The service cost under this scheme is Rs. 115. This amount does not include documentation cost;the documentation cost is different from service cost. Initially this scheme is only implemented in areas of Bengaluru. Depending upon the success of the scheme then it will be extended to whole of Karnataka. In first phasethis scheme covers Bengaluru different areas that are –

  • Dasarahalli
  • Bommanahalli
  • Rajajinagar
  • Mahadevapura

And in next phase, it covers rest of 27 areas of Bengaluru besides Anekal.

  • The benefit of this scheme has also been taken by downloading the mobile app of Janasewaka app. Applicant can download this app from playstore and register in it and by selecting the service needed. A person who is appointed as a delivery executive known as Jan Sevak. This person after the request of person collect required papers from their resident and also deliver them government services. This delivery executive will be always carrying an identification card which is issued by the government of Karnataka.
  • When the delivery executive collects the related documents according to their request then they uploaded these documents on the database of the related department.
  • After completion of the document process then Jan Sevak will contact the related person either by telephonic or any other source and deliver the concerned document to citizen at doorstep.
  • Now a days Karnataka government will be appointed one Jan Sevak in every ward, but in future number of Jan Sevak will be increased depending upon the success and workload of work.
